By Force

उदयनतोऽहं सूर्यनमस्कारस्य सर्वान् द्वादशमण्डलान् कर्तुं शक्तवान् |

तेभ्यः कुर्वद्भ्य आसनेभ्यः तादृक्षम् विप् स्वशरीरम् अनुभूय उत्साहवान् नितान्तम् अस्मि |

अधुना अहं किमर्थं जानामि ते वदन्ति हठयोग इति |

हठ इति अङ्ग्लभाषायाम् force इति नाम वर्तते |

योगः चेति सर्वे अस्य पदस्य अर्थं जानीयुः | अपिच यस्य धातोः इदं पदम् आगतम् |

अतः तस्य व्याख्यावश्यकी नास्ति |

तथा प्रायः हठयोगस्य अभ्यासः प्राणशरीमनसाम् अन्यक्षेत्रेभ्यः स्वयम् प्रसभम् युनक्ति ||

Finally I was able to do all twelve rounds of the Surya namaskara. I having felt my own body inwardly excited like this, doing these postures I am extremely energetic. Now I know why, they say haThayoga . "haTha" meaning force in English and Yoga, everyone should know the meaning of this word and also which root word it came from. So no explanation is necessary. Thus in all probability the practice of haThayoga connects oneself forcibly to other dimensions of the mind body and spirit.
