 प्रणम्य शिरसा देवीं वरदांमहाविद्यद्वितीयां

मदीयनेत्राभ्यां केन्द्रीकृताभ्यां भूमावुपश्रूये 

Having prostrated with my head to the Goddess who is the giver of boons the second of the Mahavidya( Great knowledge), with eyes made focused on the floor I attentively listened.

पदेपदे यद् मेघगर्जनमिव शब्दितम् उपश्रूये

यद् कवचमिवमदीयान्तर्भागं हृद् स्पृश्यंकृतं

दुं दुं दुम् इति आगता फट् फट् फट् इत्युक्तः

At every step which sounded like thunder, I listened, which touched the heart the core like a war kettle drum , Dum Dum Dum like this  she came, uttered by me Phat Phat Phat.

आच्छोयत्कर्तरीकरां दुस्कर्मन्स्वत्वचाच्छोयन्तीम्

अहङ्कारस्वशिरविवृक्णां धूम्रनीकाशनीलवर्णम्

In whose hand is a flay scissors, who cuts off  your own skin, the bad karmas, who severs your own head the ego and who is blueish greyish in color.

बलिरक्तपरिपूर्णखड्गांचिबिरक्तस्नवजिह्वललनां मातरम् 

मेध्याजशशमांसपूरितहोमांतृतीयनेत्रबिन्दुरक्तप्रियां प्रभुम्

Who is the divine mother the powerful , who has a scarifical sword covered with the blood of a Buffalo. Whose lolling tongue drips blood to the chin,whose Homas are filled with the flesh of rabbits goats, destained to be scarified and who favors the blood from the point of the third eye.

मातुरक्षोभ्यभैरवकलत्रे मित्राणिकुटुम्बंमां च रक्ष

Hey Ma whose husband is the great imperturbable Bhairava (Shiva) may you please protect me, my family and friends.
