भारतीयशास्त्रीयसङ्गीतस्य मूलम् ||
इदं चलच्चित्रं सामवेदस्य विषयेऽस्ति | सामवेदस्य बहुतम शब्दाः ऋग्वेदेन सामान्याः सन्ति | मन्ये  शब्दानाम् महः प्रतिशतं ऋग्वेदात् वस्तुतस् अस्ति इति | किन्तु तयोःमध्ये प्रधान विशेषार्थःअस्ति स्वरसम्पदी इति | स्वरसम्पदी मतिषु विज्ञाया अतीव अस्ति | ते वदन्ति सर्वस्य भारतीयशास्त्रीयसङ्गीतस्य वर्षिष्ठम्  ध्रुपद्सङ्गीतम् सामवेदात्  आगतम् इति | यदि यूयं इदं आशृणुयात तर्हि चलच्चित्रस्य अन्ते यूयं  सामवेदस्य रीतौ गायत्रीमन्त्रं श्रोष्यथ || #Sanskrit #Music #Veda

The Root of Indian Classical Music
This video is about the Samaveda. Most words of the SAmaveda are similar with the Rigveda. I think a great percentage of the words are actually from the Rigveda. However the major difference between them both is Melody. The melody is very recognizable in the utterances/hymn. They say Dhrupad the oldest of all Indian Classical Music came from the SAmaveda. If you all could listen to it then at the end of the video you all will hear the GAyatrI mantra in Samaveda style.
