The Bark

अधोमुखश्वानासनम् 

बेळ्ळूरु कृष्णमाचार् सुन्दरराज ऐय्यङ्गार् महाभागो यो लोके प्रमुखयोगशिक्षकस्य एक आसीत् | 

सोऽवदत् स्कन्धौ जङ्घे कशेरुर् अखिलशरीरम् च एतेन आसनेन  समातन्यन्ते |

इदं बाहुभ्याम् पादौ जङ्घे च प्रतमाम् शरीरम् आसक्ति तीव्रयति | 

ग्लानिर् अल्पयति | शरीरम्  बलंसत्वंवर्धते | प्रतिरक्षाप्रणाली रुधिरप्रवाहः पाचकश्च विशोधयन्ति | 

मतिश्चापि शान्तयतीति ||

beḻḻūru kṛṣṇamācār sundararāja aiyyaṅgār mahābhāgo yo loke pramukhayogaśikṣakasya eka āsīt | 

so'vadat skandhau jaṅghe kaśerur akhilaśarīram ca etena āsanena  samātanyante |

idaṃ bāhubhyām pādau jaṅghe ca pratamām śarīram āsakti tīvrayati | 

glānir alpayati | śarīram  balaṃsatvaṃvardhate | pratirakṣāpraṇālī rudhirapravāhaḥ pācakaśca viśodhayanti | 

matiścāpi śāntayatīti ||

It strengthens throughout the body particularly the legs feet and arms. Fatigue  reduces the body is rejuvenated , the immune system blood flow and digestion  improves and also the mind become calm
