भारते नाजायम् अहम् च हिन्दुर्नास्मि परन्तु आर्यावर्तस्य हिन्दुत्वस्य च कथा मे रोचन्ते | एकमतीव मनोग्राहि व्यक्तित्वम् रावण इति |स बुद्धिवर्जितैर् बहुभिर्जनैः भूरी प्रद्विष्यते तैर्मिथ्या समभूयत चापि | नवक्ष्यामि अहम् भारतीयाक्षरसंस्थानानाम् विषये अधिकारोऽस्मि इति किन्तु केचित् पण्डिता इतिहासाश्च उक्तवन्तः Ravana is said to be one of the two guards of Vaikuntha (abode of Vishnu) who were cursed to be born on earth. To come back to Vaikuntha, they were given a choice that they can follow the longer path of (positive) devotion of Vishnu or a shorter path of only 3 births where they would "worship" Vishnu with enmity. They chose the shorter path. Rishis later narrated this to Rama after Ravana was killed. The famous नामरामायणस्तोत्र refers to this as विश्रुतदशकण्ठोद्भवराम (Ram who heard of the origin of Ravana).Shiv Tandava Stotra in Ramayan by Ravan who was one of the greatest disciple of Lord Shiva and took part in the Leela/Drama known as Ramayan.The Ravan Tandav Stotra is one of the most powerful mantras dedicated to Lord Shiva by any of his bhaktas or devotees.Ravan,Scholar in Ayurvedic medicine. ,invented “ARKA SHASTRA". Concept of vegetarianism comes from#Ravana and he discovered the first agriculture technology. Before #Ravan,people in India were Beef eater.Ravan wrote “Eating beef cause to infect ninety eight new diseases to human beings इत्यादि च जनाः ! कृपया संस्मरन्तु मम इमानि निवेदनानि न सन्ति निवेदनानि च उद्घाटितज्ञाभिर् दृशीकाभिरवगम्यन्ताम् इति  ||
